ONE Bulimba Riverfront was developed by Velocity Property Group, designed by HAL Architects and constructed by 5 Point Projects with the downsizing, owner-occupier market in mind. Located directly on the Brisbane River on a rare North-facing site.

ONE Bulimba Riverfront was designed specifically for the relocating owner-occupier with the key attributes of large floorplans, north-facing river frontages, incredible amounts of storage plus all apartments and penthouses are three bedrooms, three bathrooms with media or multi-purpose room in most residences and 2 or 3 car parks.

Velocity Property Group’s desire in creating their projects is to give back time to the owners, who want to enjoy travelling or spending quality time in nearby cafes, restaurants and amenities rather than maintaining large homes and gardens. The exterior of the building features a soothing colour palette, which consists of natural and earthy tones and textures carefully considered to bring energy, vitality and a grounded authenticity to the design. This colour palette offers the perfect combination to complement carefully selected greenery and seamlessly complements and connects with the relaxed, riverside ambience of the area.
Similarly, the experience of the interior architecture is complex in its spatial flow and richness of materials and refined details.

An extremely innovative feature of ONE Bulimba Riverfront is the use of the KNX system for home and building control in the apartments and penthouses. The KNX app-activated, remote-controlled system at ONE Bulimba Riverfront controls the security access and can be programmed to control the lighting, blind control & climate control to increase convenience and lifestyle flexibility. KNX also allows the owners access to their apartment and the building via a PIN code rather than a traditional key, for greater flexibility and security. Residents can also assign PINs to family members for access. The essential services in the building are also monitored through KNX, meaning issues are reported via alerts to building managers, security companies or other services when necessary.

ONE Bulimba Riverfront has strong green credentials featuring energy-saving functionality, solar and power walls. The building has incorporated numerous sustainability initiatives, including solar power to 12 residences, storage batteries to the 6 penthouses, solar power to all communal lighting, power and facilities and pool, sensor lighting for all communal areas, storage batteries to communal lighting and power, car charging facilities, smart home facilities to remotely control and program air-conditioning and lighting.

Additionally, the fundamental site planning centred around maximising natural light and ventilation to all apartments. Cross ventilation was achieved to all apartments with an open atrium around the circulation core.
